HeightScale is a static tool site: every comparison is computed and rendered in your browser. This policy explains exactly what that means for your data.

What we do not collect

There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, no analytics cookies and no advertising trackers on this site. We do not collect names, email addresses or any personal information, because the tools never ask for it.

What stays on your device

Your most recent scene for each tool is saved in your browser's local storage so the page restores where you left off. This data never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time via your browser settings.

Share links

When you use a share button, the objects, values and colors of your current comparison are encoded into the URL itself. Anyone with the link can reopen that scene. Do not put private information (real full names of children, for example) into object labels you plan to share.

Downloads

PNG and SVG exports are generated locally from your browser's canvas. Nothing is uploaded to a server during export.

Hosting

The site is served over standard web hosting, which may keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention, as is standard for any website.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top will change with it. Since no personal data is collected, there is nothing to migrate or delete when that happens.

Children

The tools are safe for all ages and collect nothing, but children should always browse with a guardian's guidance.
